Abstract

Behavioral Science has been evolving to provide support for Global Health, Economics and the Achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, with methodologies of Positive Change, Intervention Designs and Leadership Development Programs, and all behavioral aspects linked to large and medium systems change, namely health systems, organizational change and large scale social change. This talk will provide information on the field about practical interventions in the biggest hospitals network in Brazil, a developing country, as well as systematized information about tools to help facilitate and accelerate interventions in Global Health Initiatives and to the successful achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Dr. Joao Ascenso

Joao Ascenso is an expert in Organizational Behavior and Leadership, working in the intersection between academia and industry for the past 20 years. Joao was trained at the MIT, Cambridge University, University of Michigan Ann Arbor, and Weatherhead School of Management, Case University and he has worked for New York University and Duke University as Senior Consultant in Organizational Behavior. This Program promoted partnerships with John Hopkins and Case Western University, which offers the training to the Cleveland Clinic. Before becoming CEO of International Executive Education and Positive Change for Business Prosperity LLC in Dubai (UAE), he was Associate Professor at Fundação Dom Cabral, the best Business School in South America, and Top10 World Business Schools in Executive Education according to the Financial Times.
