Yufei Jia is a Health System and Policy Research Analyst at Global Health Research Center.

Yufei received her Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial science and Risk management and a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of International Business and Economics. Her research interests include the financial burden and cost drivers for cancer treatment in China, COVID-19 vaccine financing, and assisting the team in completing other related tasks.

Xian Zhang

Research Fellow in NCD Research at Global Health Research Center

Xian Zhang is a Research Fellow in NCD Research at Global Health Research Center, Duke Kunshan University.

Xian Zhang graduated from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics with a Bachler’s degree in Corporate Finance in 2017 and received her master’s degree in economics from Duke University in 2019. She has worked at the World Bank and participated in the processing of data on health expenditure and fertility health data for developing countries in Africa, Latin America, and South Asia. She has a solid knowledge base and rich experience in quantitative research. She joined Global Health Research Center in October 2022, mainly responsible for conducting quantitative global health research in China.

Research Fellow in Health Policy and System

Lei Guo is a Research Fellow in Health Policy and System at the Global Health Research Center, Duke Kunshan University.

Lei Guo joined Duke Kunshan University on February 6, 2023 as Research Fellow in Health Policy and System at Global Health Research Center, reporting to Professor Shenglan Tang, Co-director of Global Health Research Center. He will work on global health projects including literature review, research project development, fieldwork and quality control, data management and analysis, project report drafting, and other related tasks.

He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical English from Peking University in 2016, and Master’s degree in Global Health from Duke Kunshan University in 2018. Previously, he worked at Duke Global Health Institute in Durham, North Carolina from 2019 to 2022 as Associate in Research.

Miaomiao Yin

Research Fellow in Health System and Policy

Miaomiao Yin is a Research Fellow in Health System and Policy at the Global Health Research Center, Duke Kunshan University.

Miaomiao Yin joined Duke Kunshan University on May 15, 2023 as Research Fellow in Health System and Policy, reporting to Prof. Shenglan Tang. She will work on global health projects including literature review, research project development, fieldwork and quality control, data management and analysis, project report drafting, and other related tasks.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry from China Agriculture University in June 2019, and Master’s degree in Public Administration from Xi’an Jiaotong University in June 2022.

Previously, she worked at Bank of Communications Financial Technology Co., Ltd in Shanghai from July 2022 to April 2023 as Product Manager.

Yichen Xu

Research Fellow in Healthy Aging

Yichen Xu is a Research Fellow in Healthy Aging at the Global Health Research Center, Duke Kunshan University.

Yichen Xu joined Duke Kunshan University on July 3, 2023 as Research Fellow in Healthy Aging at the Global Health Research Center, reporting to Prof. Chenkai Wu. Her main job responsibilities are working on literature review, data management, data analysis, and preparation of oral presentations and manuscripts. She will be also leading the administrative work in Prof. Wu’s research group.

Yichen received her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in June 2022, and will receive an Master’s degree in Public Health from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in November 2023.

Yanqin Zhang

Research Fellow for Global Health Research Center

Yanqin Zhang is a Research Fellow for Global Health Research Center.

Yanqin Zhang joined Duke Kunshan University on December 1, 2023 as Research Fellow at the Global Health Research Center, reporting to Prof. Yunguo Liu. Her main job responsibilities are assisting professors on health-related research work, participating and conducting research activities in global health and liaising with research partners to facilitate collaborative project implementation.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Management from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in June 2019, and Master’s degree in Public Health from University of Melbourne in July 2021. Previously, she worked at Burnet Institute in Melbourne as Research Assistant.

Jianhong Xu

Research Fellow in Global Health

Jianhong Xu is a Research Fellow in Global Health.

Jianhong Xu joined Duke Kunshan University on December 4, 2023 as Research Fellow in Global Health, reporting to Prof. Chenkai Wu. His main job responsibilities are data management and analysis using STATA, R, or Python for research projects, and provide assistance to other research work including but not limited to statistical section of grant proposals, literature review, manuscript writing, and conference presentation. In addition, he will coordinate fieldwork and primary data collection, grant management and other admin duties.

He received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Nottingham Ningbo China in July 2022, and Master’s degree in Health Economics and Decision Science from University College London in December 2023. His research interests lie in the area of burden of disease, risk prediction related to climate change and applied econometrics. Previously, he interned at the Global Health Research Center, Duke Kunshan University in Health Policy and System Research.

Tinhui Ke

Research Fellow in Health Policy and System

Tianhui Ke is.a Research Fellow in Health Policy and System at Duke Kunshan University.

Tianhui Ke joined Duke Kunshan University on January 2, 2024 as Research Fellow in Health Systems and Policy, reporting to Prof. Qian Long. She works on global health projects including literature review, research project development, fieldwork and quality control, data management and analysis, project report drafting, and other related tasks.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Management and Communication from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in June 2019, and Master’s degree in Public Health from University of Melbourne in July 2021.

Previously, she worked at the Burnet Institute in Melbourne as a Research Assistant for two years. During the time she worked in Burnet, she has collaborated with a wide range of research partners to facilitate successful project implementation and also gained experience in participant engagement, survey building, data management and analysis.

Yanxin Wang

Research Fellow in Global Health

Yanxin Wang is Research Fellow in Global Health at Duke Kunshan University.

Yanxin Wang joined Duke Kunshan University on January 15, 2024 as Research Fellow in Global Health, in Global Health Research Center, reporting to Prof. Chenkai Wu.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Irvine in June 2020, and Master’s degree in Biostatistics from Duke University in May 2023.

Previously, she worked at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina from May 2022 to July 2023 as a research assistant. And she also worked at University of California, Irvine, California from July 2020 to February 2021 as research assistant.
