Beijing, September 11 – At a press conference hosted by the State Council Information Office, Dr. Shen Hongbing, Deputy Director of the National Health Commission and Director of the National Administration of Disease Prevention and Control, announced that China will, within this year, roll out nationwide HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccine immunization for school girls and include the HPV vaccine in the National Immunization Program (NIP) to safeguard women’s health.

The inaugural "Regulatory Functional Training," a core module of the "CREATInG Initiative" (China Regulatory Excellence and Training for In-vitro Diagnostics Global Initiative), successfully concluded at Duke Kunshan University from November 10th to 12th. This marks the third major activity under the initiative, following an international roundtable and an executive workshop.

April 9, 2026 – The “Co-Creating the Future of Global Health with China MedTech” International Forum was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Organized by the Shanghai Global Health Innovation Institute and Duke Kunshan University, the event convened leaders from academia, industry, and research to explore how medical device innovation can advance global health. Discussions focused on new opportunities, emerging technologies, and collaborative pathways, with a shared goal of integrating “China Solutions” into global health governance.
