Bingyi Wang

Senior Coordinator for Global Health Research Center

Bingyi Wang is a Senior Coordinator for Global Health Research Center (GHRC).

Her main job responsibilities include providing grant management for center’s research and foundation projects, giving administrative supporting for center’s conferences, seminars and workshops, and coordinating for center’s daily operation.

Bingyi received her MA in Education and International Development at University College London and her B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature at Shandong University. She worked as Coordinator for Global Health Research Center at Duke Kunshan University from 2020 to 2023, and Administrative Assistant for Global Health Research Center from 2017 to 2020. Prior to joining Duke Kunshan University, she worked in Voith Corporate Management (Shanghai) Co. as Admin Assistant.

Danyue Tian

Senior Recruitment and Admissions Officer for Global Health Program

Danyue Tian is the Senior Recruitment and Admissions Officer for Global Health. Her main job responsibilities include planning and executing a variety of on-campus and off-campus activities and events to promote the MSc-GH Program, as well as recruiting and admitting high-quality domestic and international students.

Kaikai Yang

Assistant Director of Global Health Program, Duke Kunshan University

Kaikai Yang is the Assistant Director for Global Health Program.

Her responsibilities in this capacity include providing leadership and coordination to support the Global Health Research Center and the MSc-GH program, leading and supervising the administrative team to support faculty and researchers in education, training, and research projects, and contributing to the efficient management of program operation and finance in collaboration with relevant units of Duke Kunshan University and partners.

Mengdan Cheng

Administrative Assistant of Global Health

Mengdan Cheng joined Duke Kunshan University on June 5, 2023 as Administrative Assistant of Global Health, reporting to Ms. Kaikai Yang, Assistant Director of Global Health Program. Her main job responsibilities include serving as primary program-specific contact for faculty, prospective applicants, and current students, etc., supporting project planning and pre-departure field work workshop series and other student activities.

She received her bachelor’s degree in Business English from Hubei University in June 2021, and Master’s degree in English Translation from Soochow University in June 2023.

Previously, she worked at Foreign Affairs Office of Suzhou People’s Government from September 2022 to January 2023 as an intern at Guests Reception Office.

Yijie Nan

Administrative Assistant for Global Health Research Center

Yijie Nan joined Duke Kunshan University on February 24, 2025, as Administrative Assistant for Global Health Research Center, reporting to Kaikai Yang, Assistant Director of the Global Health Program. In this role, her main job responsibilities are to assist in the organization and execution of seminars, workshops, and conferences. Additionally, she supports the development and dissemination of promotional materials across various platforms, including social media, websites, and annual reports, to enhance the program’s visibility and engagement.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Nantong University in June 2023 and is expected to receive her Master’s degree in Child Development and Family Education from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in April 2025.

Previously, she worked as an intern in the Office of Executive Education and Lifelong Learning at Duke Kunshan University from August 2024 to February 2025, gaining valuable experience in program coordination and academic administration.

Zhangyang Pan

Associate Director for Communication and Advocacy

Ms. Zhangyang Pan joined Duke Kunshan University on February 18, 2023. She currently serves as the Associate Director for Communication and Advocacy, the Innovation Lab for Vaccine Delivery Research, Duke Kunshan University.  Her main job responsibilities include developing communication and policy advocacy strategies for VaxLab and other global health-related research, promoting evidence-informed advocacy, steering platforms for dialogue and knowledge exchange, and linking stakeholder collaboration. She also leads communication and advocacy related work for the Global Health Research Center.

Zhangyang has more than 12 years of experience in communication and media work. She starts her career as a journalist and editor at the UK Chinese Times in England. Later, she joined Becton Dickinson Medical Device and Bayer Consumer Health, serving in positions across corporate communications and public affairs. She received her bachelor’s degree in political education from Southwest University of Political Science and Law in July 2008, Master of Art in Journalism Studies (Web) from the University of Sheffield in November 2009, and Master of Science in Global Health from Duke University in 2023.

Ziyi Zhu

Administrative Assistant for the Innovation Lab for Vaccine Delivery Research

Ziyi Zhu (Judy) joined Duke Kunshan University on November 1, 2024, as Administrative Assistant for the Innovation Lab for Vaccine Delivery Research, reporting to the Director of Global Health, Prof. Tang Shenglan. Her main job responsibilities include supporting the day-to-day activities of the VaxLab, assisting team members with project execution, facilitating meetings and workshops, and providing support for communication-related work.

Before joining DKU, Ziyi worked as an HR intern at the UNICEF China Country Office in Beijing. Prior to that, she served as a Research Assistant at Beijing Normal University, contributing to various research projects on health policy.

She received her Master’s degree in Social Medicine and Health Management from Beijing Normal University in June 2024, and a Bachelor’s degree in Labor and Social Security from Nanjing Normal University in June 2021.
