Bingyi Wang

Senior Coordinator for Global Health Research Center

Bingyi Wang is a Senior Coordinator for Global Health Research Center (GHRC).

Her main job responsibilities include providing grant management for center’s research and foundation projects, giving administrative supporting for center’s conferences, seminars and workshops, and coordinating for center’s daily operation.

Bingyi received her MA in Education and International Development at University College London and her B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature at Shandong University. She worked as Coordinator for Global Health Research Center at Duke Kunshan University from 2020 to 2023, and Administrative Assistant for Global Health Research Center from 2017 to 2020. Prior to joining Duke Kunshan University, she worked in Voith Corporate Management (Shanghai) Co. as Admin Assistant.

Administrative Assistant for Global Health Research Center

Chu Ren joined Duke Kunshan University on January 9, 2023 as Administrative Assistant for Global Health Research Center, reporting to Kaikai Yang, Assistant Director of Global Health Program. Her main job responsibilities are managing the “Media Academy” project, maintaining the content of GHRC’s social media channels, and providing admin support for Global Health workshops, seminars, events and non-degree training programs.

Chu received her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen in November 2019, and Master’s degree in Gender Studies from Utrecht University in the Netherlands in September 2022.

Danyue Tian

Senior Recruitment and Admissions Officer

Danyue Tian is the Senior Recruitment and Admissions Officer for Global Health. Her main job responsibilities include planning and executing a variety of on-campus and off-campus activities and events to promote the MSc-GH Program, as well as recruiting and admitting high-quality domestic and international students.

Jiaqi Zu

Coordinator for Health Policy and System

Jiaqi Zu is the Coordinator for Health Policy and System.

Her main job responsibilities are supporting the day-to-day execution of all activities related to the Health Policy and System program. Jiaqi received her B.Eng. in Lanzhou University of Technology and M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. She has experience in academic research, project experimentation, data management, administrative work, and event organization.

Kaikai Yang

Assistant Director of Global Health Program, Duke Kunshan University

Kaikai Yang is the Assistant Director for Global Health Program.

Her responsibilities in this capacity include providing leadership and coordination to support the Global Health Research Center and the MSc-GH program, leading and supervising the administrative team to support faculty and researchers in education, training, and research projects, and contributing to the efficient management of program operation and finance in collaboration with relevant units of Duke Kunshan University and partners.

Mengdan Cheng

Administrative Assistant of Global Health

Mengdan Cheng joined Duke Kunshan University on June 5, 2023 as Administrative Assistant of Global Health, reporting to Ms. Kaikai Yang, Assistant Director of Global Health Program. Her main job responsibilities include serving as primary program-specific contact for faculty, prospective applicants, and current students, etc., supporting project planning and pre-departure field work workshop series and other student activities.

She received her bachelor’s degree in Business English from Hubei University in June 2021, and Master’s degree in English Translation from Soochow University in June 2023.

Previously, she worked at Foreign Affairs Office of Suzhou People’s Government from September 2022 to January 2023 as an intern at Guests Reception Office.

Zhangyang Pan

Senior Communication Officer in the Innovation Lab for Vaccine Delivery Research (VaxLab)

Ms. Zhangyang Pan joined Duke Kunshan University on February 18, 2023 as Senior Communication Officer in the Innovation Lab for Vaccine Delivery Research (VaxLab) in Global Health Research Center. Her main job responsibilities are enhancing VaxLab’s branding as a leading vaccine delivery research platform in China, promoting evidence-based advocacy to shape public health policy agenda, raising public awareness of life-saving vaccines, and facilitating multiple stakeholders’ collaboration. Zhangyang will also support the Global Health Research Center in the dissemination and communication of scientific evidences produced by the global health faculty and researchers.

Zhangyang received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Education from Southwest University of Political Science and Law in July, 2008, Master of Art in Journalism Studies (Web) from the University of Sheffield in November, 2009, and Master of Science in Global Health from Duke University in 2023.

She starts her career as a journalist and editor for UK Chinese Times in Milton Keynes, England. Prior to joining DKU, she worked at Bayer Consumer Health China in Shanghai from February, 2019 to June 2022 as communications manager. She has also served various roles in communication and public affairs in Becton Dickinson Medical Device China from 2012 to 2019.
