Advanced Training Course for Officials of Jiangsu Commission of Health to Improve Management Capacity

Duke Kunshan Global Health Research Center offered a series of advanced training sessions to 180 government officials from the Jiangsu Commission of Health from November 16-18, 2018. Ten senior experts from China and abroad were invited to give lectures during the training, including Dean Qingyue Meng from School of Public Health at Peking University and Professor Li Luo from School of Public Health at Fudan University. Professor Abu Abdullah and Professor Lijing Yan from Global Health Program at Duke Kunshan University also gave lectures.

During this training program, various topics were covered from macro-policy interpretation to micro-management measures and methods, including theories such as chronic disease management, social medicine, behavioral economics and behavior management, health service systems, and analysis of domestic and foreign practical cases.
