Dr. Xin Li, Dean of Graduate Studies, and Dr. Shenglan Tang, Co-Director of Global Health Program delivered the opening speech. Faculty and staff then analyzed features and experience of Global Health Program at Duke Kushan University (undergraduate and master’s) and discussed focus areas in global health education, research and partnership in the coming years in response to global health challenges, health system development, public health emergency response, and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Participants had a great discussion. Together, they identified advantages, opportunities, risks and improvement areas of the Global Health Program, and envisioned future development direction.
