Frontiers in Health Science Research Forum was hosted by the Global Health Research Center at Duke Kunshan University in October 2018. The forum aims to introduce the concept of global health to participants, giving a deep insight into health science research, and fostering youth leadership through encouraging youth to develop their own projects related to global health issues.
The proposal development session focused on fostering participants’ problem-solving ability in global health. Based on their interests, participants were divided into five small working groups corresponding with the lecture topics. Faculty and staff of Duke Kunshan University were assigned a specific scenario to present to the participants where they were tasked with finding solutions to the problems. In the end, five groups gave excellent presentations for their individual projects.
