The Dean of the Graduate School of Duke Kunshan University, Dr. Xin Li represented the university welcomed the HPA team.

Shortly after their arrival, the HPA representatives and the co-directors of the Global Health Research Center of Duke Kunshan University  Prof. Shenglan Tang and Dr. Yunguo Liu along with the professors and researchers in Global Health had a productive meeting. Both parties have showed a strong interest in the corporation in global health, including global education and training programs, research, and project implementation. The HPA representatives also introduced their work and achievements in the China-Myanmar border.

Health Poverty Action (HPA) is an international non-government organization founded in the UK. The HPA Yunnan Office has been working in Myanmar and China’s Yunnan Province for 28 years. They mainly focus on primary healthcare, infectious disease prevention and control, and humanitarian assistance in impoverished border area in Myanmar, and has made remarkable achievements.
