Meet the Speakers

Yitian Cai

Associate Partner of McKinsey & Company

Yitian is a core leader of Greater China Life sciences practice. She leads the Greater China new product launch service line, vaccine service line, and co-leads provider and social sector services. She has extensive experience working with pharmaceutical & vaccine companies/ service advice on growth strategy and transformation, and with NGOs on global public health related topics.

Wingki Chu

Class of 2025 Student, Master of Science in Global Health Program, Duke Kunshan University

Wingki is a Master’s student in Global Health at Duke Kunshan University, where she studied health systems, policies, and global health challenges. She also obtained a nursing degree for her undergraduate studies and worked a year as a registered nurse in the operating room at Health Science Centre in Canada before joining the Global Health Program. During her graduate study, she combined her solid background in healthcare and hands-on experiences in both clinical and research settings to explore innovative interventions for enhancing awareness and treatment for obstructive sleep apnea among older adults. Her academic work involves investigating the burden of sleep disorders and exploring methodologies for healthy aging studies in East Asia and Southeast Asia. She also had experiences with supporting international market development projects for cancer treatment and leading flu vaccine initiatives in collaboration with local NGOs. Wingki brings a multi-disciplinary perspective to the panel, combining her clinical experiences with medical devices and the global health insights.

About “This is Global Health! Monthly Symposium Series”Since 2014, the Global Health Research Center (GHRC) at Duke Kunshan University has organized a series of global health symposium events, inviting leaders, scientists, and industry experts in the global health field to exchange information on the latest research progress, international and domestic development trends, and global health education and practice. By April 2025, GHRC had successfully hosted 200 seminars. Starting in Fall 2024, the series has been renamed and restructured from the “Aegon-Industrial Global Health Seminar Series” to the “This is Global Health! Monthly Symposium Series,” featuring a new format of panel talks and a vision for greater impact.
