Recently, Bolu Yang, a graduate of the Master of Global Health program at Duke Kunshan University and a joint PhD student of Wuhan University and Duke Kunshan University, published a research paper titled “Economic Evaluation of a Multicomponent mHealth Intervention for Stroke Management in Rural China: Cluster-Randomized Trial With 6-Year Follow-Up” as the first author in the internationally renowned journal JMIR mHealth and uHealth.

Beijing, September 11 – At a press conference hosted by the State Council Information Office, Dr. Shen Hongbing, Deputy Director of the National Health Commission and Director of the National Administration of Disease Prevention and Control, announced that China will, within this year, roll out nationwide HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccine immunization for school girls and include the HPV vaccine in the National Immunization Program (NIP) to safeguard women’s health.

Dr. Claudia Fernandes Nisa, Assistant Professor of Behavioral Science at the Global Health Research Center of Duke Kunshan University, has recently been received research grant from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) for the year 2025. Her research project is scheduled to commence on January 1, 2026.
