Professor Wenhong Zhang Explores Humanity’s Battle Against Disease at Duke Kunshan University

Ahead of World Tuberculosis Day (March 24), leading infectious disease expert Professor Wenhong Zhang delivered a keynote at Duke Kunshan University (DKU) on March 20, highlighting the humanity’s battle against tuberculosis (TB), AI in healthcare, and personal career development. Professor Wenhong Zhang currently holds the roles of Director at the National Medical Center for Infectious Diseases and the Director of Infectious Diseases Department at Shanghai Huashan Hospital.
The widely known celebrity doctor drew an enthusiastic crowd of over 400 attendees to the 200th “This is Global Health” Symposium.

A Long Road Ahead for Smoke-Free Legislation and Implementation in China

Recently, Bolu Yang, a 2023 graduate of the Master of Science in Global Health program at Duke Kunshan University and currently a PhD student in the Wuhan University-Duke Kunshan University Joint PhD Supervision Program, published an article in Nicotine and Tobacco Research, exploring the diversity and influencing factors of tobacco control legislation and its implementation in mainland of China through literature analysis, policy reviews, and interviews.
