This June, four members of Duke Kunshan University’s MSc in Global Health Program, Class of 2026, completed their course week in Geneva as part of the Duke Global Policy (DGP) Program—a signature summer initiative from Duke University.
In July 2025, the 54th International Teaching Seminar on Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology and Prevention, organized by the International Society for Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology and Prevention (ISCEP), was held in Lisbon, Portugal. Professor Lijing L. Yan, Head of the Chronic Disease Research at the Global Health Research Center, Duke Kunshan University and a member of the ISCEP leadership council, attended the seminar and served as a mentor.

On July 9, 2025, the 2025 Shanghai Summer School on Global Health and One Health visited Duke Kunshan University (DKU) for a day of academic exchange. Duke Kunshan University (DKU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Kaikai Yang as Associate Director of the Global Health Program, effective July 1, 2025. In this role, she will oversee strategic administration and operational excellence across the MSc in Global Health Program and the Global Health Research Center.
Three leading global health universities jointly held an interdisciplinary symposium, Advanced Infectious Disease Modelling Workshop, at Duke Kunshan University from May 26 to 28, 2025, uniting leading researchers and public health experts for in-depth discussions on the latest advancements in the field.This workshop provided a venue for knowledge sharing and idea exchange among infectious disease modellers.
