About the HPRG

Established in May 2025, the Health Policy Research Group (HPRG) was initiated by the Global Health Research Center at Duke Kunshan University with support from the E Fund Foundation. HPRG brings together researchers and practitioners from government agencies, national policy institutes, and leading universities around a shared commitment to advancing health policy and health system development. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and the integration of research, policy, and practice, HPRG seeks to generate rigorous evidence on health system reform, facilitate the translation of research into actionable policy, and contribute to the Healthy China Initiative. Since its launch, HPRG has established ties with national and local health authorities, healthcare security administrations, and research institutions, laying a solid groundwork for evidence-informed policymaking and multi-stakeholder engagement.

Vision

Deepen research on health system reform, drive policy change through evidence-based advocacy, and translate findings into real-world practice to support the Healthy China Initiative and better health for all.
